Supporting Food Sustainability through S.T.E.M Education and AgTech Farming Methods

Our goal is to teach the next generation using our 3D Model of Sustainability ™ - Education, Food/Health & Mental Wellness and Enterprise.

Offering a location for hands-on learning, virtual training, as well as Internships and mentorships in AgTech, Distribution, Sales and Marketing

“Each one Teach one” - Jannie Wray

Inspiration to start Next Generation Harvest began in the classroom with Jannie’s Hydroponic Explorers Club. We found that by teaching students how to grow with our hands-on hydroponics gardening, they take their new knowledge and spread their expertise by teaching another student, parent, teacher, etc. Our “seed to harvest” hands-on programming offered the students the opportunity to expand their horizons for their own future. With Next Generation Harvest, we are expanding our programs to reach beyond the classroom to all generations.

Hydroponics - More than just fun and games!

Science Technology Engineering (Arts) and Math Education in action! It teaches youth leadership! Students take the lead to learn about hydroponics!

Educational Materials

We offer our website resource page for online educational materials. These supplemental lesson plans and materials are there to assist with teaching S.T.E.M through hydroponics, gardening and farming. There is no cost for these resources.

Internships + Mentorships

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning. We want to assist in growing the mind with each students interest, from AG Tech, Growing, Distributing, Sales and Marketing.

Continuing Education for Teachers

We create continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their students communities. From training on the Hydroponic systems to offering S.T.E.M curriculum to incorporating lesson plans with hands-on learning techniques, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful. And for students who want to continue their hydroponics journey, we offer Jannie’s Hydroponic Explorers Club.

Growing Lab

“Hands-on learning” is a form of education in which people learn by doing. This process of learning through action - stimulates the brain and engages all seven senses. And the best way for us to make that happen is creating a (maker) space to provide those experiences. Our goal is to implement our programs with our community partners Growing Labs as well as eventually designing a full STEM Growing Lab specific to Next Generation Harvest programs in the future.

“We should have some Italian basil ready by next week. If you would like to take some home, stop in at the end of the day on Monday. We will have lettuce, parsley, dill, oregano and mint soon. 🪴 💦 🌱 🌿Thanks @fullcircle26inc” — SCMS Media Center
